"West Kendall Dolphins Are All For One"
August 25, 2010 - Please follow the link above to read the feature article on the West Kendall Dolphins football program. The article was written by Stephanie Turner and featured on westkendalltoday.com in association with the Miami Herald. Read and enjoy! One park, one family! Anthony "Coach Tony" Cordero June 13, 1964 to July 1, 2010
Coach Tony was a father, brother, uncle, mentor, and role model to those that knew him best. He leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, loyalty, and accountability to all those that he touched in his life. Coach Tony was a selfless man that gave everything he had to his community, family, and friends. Words cannot describe the emptiness and pain that we are all feeling. We do not know why god decided it was his time but lets not question him and realize that there is a significant purpose to his passing. During difficult times like the one before us now is when we must all come together to show unity, strength, and resilience as a family. One park, one family! Nobody had more love and admiration for the West Kendall Football program then Tony. From this day forward the entire 2010 football season will be dedicated to Coach Tony and the preserving of his legacy for the impact he has had on our lives. Our condolences and prayers go out to the entire Cordero family. Coach Tony will be missed but never forgotten by the kids and families that he touched in his short life. "Coach Tony, you will forever be in all our hearts. We love you. Thank you for providing us with guidance, love, and leadership. May you rest peacefully Tony! We know you will always be watching over us." West Kendall Dolphins 175lbs are Champions! 2009 MDXYFL 175lbs Super Bowl Champions
